Canton- Ronald O. Payne, 66, of Canton passed away at 8:05 AM Friday March 11, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born June 29, 1949 at Canton the son of Richard O. and Betty L. (Butler) Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his aunt Anna Delle (Bill) Camp of Lewistown and many cousins.
Ronald retired from Caterpillar with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 974 and the Farmington Lodge 151 AF&AM. Ronald had many hobbies including collecting tractors, old engines, toy tractors, coins, and wood carving. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially their children.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday March 15th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Monroe Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross or Farmington Lodge 151 AF&AM.
