Lois Morris

Wee-Ma-Tuk – Lois L. Morris, 86, of Wee-Ma-Tuk died at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
She was born November 21, 1929, in Peoria to Walter and Myrtle (Bell) Hooper.  She married Ross E. Morris on December 19, 1953, in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on March 5, 2007.
She is survived by one son, Dale D. Morris of Peoria; one cousin, Ruth Murray of Peoria; several second cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Marianne L. Morris.
Lois graduated from Bradley University and was an elementary school teacher in Peoria.  She enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling with her husband, and was a former member of Wee-Ma-Tuk Country Club.  She attended Fiatt Independent Christian Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Grant Keime Memorial Trust or to the Fiatt Independent Christian Church.
