Canton- Janice I. Fulton, 81, of Canton passed away 2:57 PM Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born in Pontiac, MI on July 2, 1934 to Russell and Alta (Gallup) Boss.
She married Jackie Ballard Jr. in 1953; he preceded her in death in November 1964. She later married Richard Fulton on September 12, 1977. He preceded her in death in March 2006.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Surviving are two children, Jack (Julie) Ballard of Canton, and Julie (John) DeFrates of Lake Ozark, MO; two step children, Steven (Mary Jane) Fulton of Carlock, and Robert Fulton of Canton; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two sisters, Merrie (Alan) Schweigert of Morton and Linda (Odes) Haltom of Texarkana, AR.
She was a member of Locust Lane United Methodist Church.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton. Rev. Jerry Sawyer will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Visitation will be held Thursday, March, 10 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
