Cuba- Diane Johnson, 68, of Cuba, passed away at 3:12 PM Wednesday March 2, 2016 at OSF St Francis Medical Center.
She was born January 9, 1948 at Macomb, the daughter of Daniel and Geneva (Hickox) Wilson. She married Dale Johnson in 1972. He survives with three sons, Jeff (Jodi) Marlow of Smithfield, Nick (Susan) Marlow of rural Marietta, and Dale (Patty) Johnson of Marietta, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Susan Welch of Colchester, and Gloria Trone of Folkston, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Susanna Marlow, and two sisters.
Diane was a retail merchandiser. She was an artist and taught art classes at the Bushnell Recreation Center. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, with Reverend Ardith Corsaw officiating. There will be no visitation. A private family interment service will be held at Buckeye Cemetery at rural Smithfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the OSF St Francis Childrens Hospital.
