Saint David – Barbara Jean Johnson, 73, of Saint David, passed away at 6:48 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Graham Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1942 in Marietta, IL to Clarence and Ethel (Morse) Neuneker. She married Jerry Gordon Johnson on September 29, 1959 in Saint David, IL. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2014.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, and three brothers, William, Voyd, and Paul Neuneker.
Surviving are four children, Raymond Johnson of Canton, Terri Johnson of Lewistown, Kandi Johnson of Saint David, and Robert (Terri) Johnson of Bryant; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert, James, Charles, and Clarence Neuneker; six sisters, Rozella Wages, Francis Moats, Minnie Bowton, Betty Grim, Leona Bedwell, and Georgia Myers.
Barbara was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Canton, IL
Services will be at 12 PM noon on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes in Canton, where a visitation will be held from 11-12 PM. Rev. Kevin VanTine will be the officiate. Burial will follow the services at While Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials can be made to Robert Johnson for Funeral Expenses.
