Robert D. Putman, 60, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:21 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born on November 9, 1954 in Canton, to Robert F. and Cora (Boling) Putman. He first married Lila Cook, and later married Rose Brown who preceded him in death.
Surviving are three children, Donna Hebb of Vermont, IL, Brandy (Ryan Rogers) Hough of Bryant, IL, and James (Hollie) Putman of Wonder lake, IL; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother Brian (Valerie) Putman of Allendale, IL; and first wife Lila Cook.
Preceding him in death is one grandson.
Robert worked as a Truck Driver, and was a lifelong member of NRA. He was an avid Bears fan, and loved to go fishing and hunting.
Cremations rights have been accorded by Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton. A celebration of life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Spoon River Towers in Lewistown, IL.
