Elaine Noe

Canton – Elaine B. Noe, 93, of Canton, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center of Canton.
She was born on August 14, 1922 in Canton to Arvel “Jack” and Ellen (Bell) Reffett.
She married Clarence Noe in Canton on June 7, 1953. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1992. She was also preceded in death by one infant brother and son-in-law Stan Olson.
Surviving is her daughter Denise “Dee” Olson of Monmouth.
Elaine was the oldest living member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton at the time of her passing. She was a teacher for the Canton Schools teaching at Ingersoll, Hulit, Anderson, Kellogg, Central and lastly retiring in 1984 from Lincoln Grade School. Prior to marriage, she had worked for 5 years for the Illinois Secretary of State office in Springfield, she was also involved with two Bridge Clubs.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
A memorial fund will be established in Elaine’s name.
