Cheryl A. Knussman, 61, of Trivoli, passed away at 7:22 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on September 24, 1954 to John and Ann (Geier) Schoon. She married Gary Knussman on December 6, 1980 in Canton, he survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Anna (Scott) Butler of Oceanside, CA; her parents, John and Ann Schoon of Glasford; two brothers, John (Christina) Schoon of Midland, TX, and James (Susan) Schoon of Tucson, AZ; and one sister Pam (Matt) Price of Princeville, IL.
Cheryl worked and later volunteered at Christ Lutheran School in Peoria, and farmed with her husband. She attended Trivoli United Methodist Church in Trivoli. Cheryl was a bible study teacher and loved to study God’s word.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Trivoli United Methodist Church in Trivoli. Pastor Bob DeBolt will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL. Burial will follow services at Trivoli Cemetery in Trivoli.
