Milan- Martha L. Allen, 78, of Milan and formerly of Smithfield passed away at 12:15 AM Saturday November 7, 2015 at her home.
She was born December 27, 1936 at Bernadotte, Fulton County the daughter of Clarence and Georgia L. (Morrow) Matheny. She married Lloyd Allen on February 11, 1957 at Macomb. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Surviving are one niece, Georgia Matheny of Milan whom she considered a daughter, one brother, Harley Matheny, and a special friend, Dewaine Crosby.
Martha worked in janitorial maintenance. She was a member of the American Legion unit #0569. Martha touched many lives and was loved by everyone.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 10th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
