She was born on September 6, 1959 in Canton, Il, to Phillip and Annabelle (Senders) Azbell.
She is survived by her father of Rushville, also her daughter, Regan (Adam) Wherley of Canton; her brother, Jon Randol “Randy” (Julie) Azbell of Arenzville, Il; two grandchildren, Addisyn and Haidyn; two nieces, Melody (Doug) Claudius of Rushville and Katie Marie Azbell of Warsaw, Il; and two great-nephews, Will and Matt Claudius, and one great-niece, Izabella Claudius.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Tana was a registered nurse at Proctor Hospital ICU and Pekin Hospital as well as many hospitals and nursing homes throughout Central Illinois. She also was a traveling nurse throughout the Western part of the U.S.
She was a member of the South Park United Methodist Church in Canton, Il and attended the Arenzville United Methodist Church in Arenzville, Il., where her brother Randy is pastoring.
Cremation rights have been accorded. There will be no services. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA or the Epilepsy Foundation.
