She was born July 23, 1928 in Canton, to Roscoe and Mable (Stockmen) Girard. She married Gary C. Howard on April 4, 1959 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2006.
She is survived by three children, Marcia (Arthur) Jones of Lewistown, Janice (Carl) Reneau of Canton, and Patricia (Patrick) Wallick of Port Richey, FL; one brother, Roscoe Girard Jr. of Bartonville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Virgil, Harold, Vaughn, and Willis Girard; and four sisters, Leona Kucera, Alleen Thompson, Shelba Wilson, and Hazel Girard.
Annabell was a homemaker and had also worked as the supervisor of housekeeping at Graham Hospital. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the Lewistown Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to Lewistown Church of the Nazarene.
