Occupation: Irma was a farm
wife. She also was proud to serve her
country during WW II while
she worked at Camp Ellis in the automotive parts division as a stock
record clerk. She also was an Amway
Distributor.
Memberships: Ipava United Presbyterian Church since 1959, serving as Deacon and Elder and
helped serve many chicken pie suppers and funeral dinners. She was a member of the Ipava Order
of the Eastern Star since April of 1942, where she served as secretary
for many of those years. She
was also secretary of the Ipava High School Alumni Reunion Committee. She loved to cook and
bake pies, especially Grape and Green Tomato pies.
Services: 11:00 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Ipava United Presbyterian Church, Ipava, IL
Officiating: Pastor Bob Miner
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Ipava United Presbyterian Church with Order of the
Eastern Star services at 8:00 pm
Interment: Ipava Cemetery, Ipava, IL
Memorials: McDonough District Hospice, Ipava United Presbyterian Church, or the Ipava Order
of the Eastern Star.
