June Stoneking

Canton – June N. Stoneking, 100, formerly of Canton and Ellisville, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.
She was born on June 9, 1914 in Fiatt to Charles W. and Cora (Knott) Utsinger.
She married Lawrence Stoneking in Keokuk, Iowa on December 8, 1937. He preceded her in death on September 30, 1949.
Surviving are two children Connie (Richard) Keener of Marietta and Randall Stoneking of Canton, six grandchildren Kelly (Albert) Weiss, Torey Keener, Neil Keener, Gail Cavaness, Gretchen (Scott) Beaty, and Ashley Stoneking, eleven great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, two sisters Arthaline Widger of Fiatt and Mary Wright of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings Carrie Brown, Hilda Rock, Zella Runk, Ruby Stevenson, Maxine Reinertsen, Howard Utsinger and Marjorie Corsaw.
June was a self-employed hairdresser for many years and a member of Wiley Lutheran Church in rural Ellisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 26 at Wiley Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
Burial will be at Wiley Cemetery.
