Charlotte was born September 24, 1917 in Fulton County to Ernie and Lela Raker. She married Maurice Mitchell Rennie on Dec. 4, 1937 in Lewistown and lived most of her life in Canton.
She lived in Sebring, FL for 10 years and Ankeny, IA with her daughter and son-in-law for her last 3 years.
Surviving are her children, Wayne Maurice (Rosemary) Rennie of Shrewsbury, MA and Susan Kaye (Gurney) Masters of Ankeny, IA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Shan Robert (Lucy) Pollitt of Zumbrota, MN, Stacey Lynn (Dale) Koppedryer of Clarks Grove, MN, and Ellen (William) Tripp of Coventry, Conn; and six great grandchildren, Mitchell, Robert and Zachary Pollitt, Samantha and Stefanie Koppedryer, and Ellie Tripp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother, Woodrow Raker.
Charlotte was an 80 yr member of Royal Neighbors of America, a 50 yr member of Eastern Star of Illinois, and a member of the Maples Mill Church in Maples Mill, IL.
She enjoyed sharing holidays with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, golf, and traveling. She will be missed greatly by all.
There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 13th at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton.
Graveside services for the immediate family will be the following day.
