He was born on April 18, 1941 in Cuba to Claude and Jennie (Bartlett) Henderliter. They preceded him in death.
Surviving is his sister Julia Smith of Canton and his nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death are siblings, Eloise Henderliter, James Henderliter and Dorothy Gilmore. John graduated from East Peoria High School and from Bradley University.
He lived several years in California and worked in data entry for an attorney and also a stock broker firm. He then retired and moved back to Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services per John’s request.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
