James Campbell

Canton –James Campbell, 72, of Canton, died at 2:26 a.m. Sunday, March 16, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center in Canton.
He was born on June 6, 1942 in Browning to Charles and Fay (Faler) Campbell.
He married Miriam J. Nelson on September 3, 1960 in Macomb.  She preceded him in death.
Other survivors include two sons Lance (Monica) Campbell of Philo and Kevin Campbell of Cuba, 4 grandchildren Solara, Kristin, Brandi and Cameron, 1 great grandchild Audrey, brothers, Charlie Campbell of Havana, Dallas Campbell of Bushnell, David Campbell of Macomb and George Campbell of Roseville. He was also preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter Mitzi Gay, brother Vern and sister Jessie Shumaker.
James served in the U.S. Army and later work for Caterpillar retiring in 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Health Care in Canton.
