Ronald M. Bishop

Cuba- Ronald M. Bishop, Loving Husband and Father, 86, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Wednesday, September the 7th at Graham Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 15th, 1935 to Thomas and Golda “Babe” Bishop in Cuba. Ron worked as a carpenter, building homes in the Cuba and Smithfield area, and at International Harvester in Canton before retiring in 1988. Ron was a member of the Cuba Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved brother, Thomas Bishop, and sister-in-law, Nancy Bishop. Ron married Beverly Helle on June 16, 1956 and she survives. Ron is also survived by his daughter, Leesa Bishop-Beecham of Chicago, his daughter, Cathy Howd of Paris, TN; son Brad and wife Dawn Bishop of Saint Paris, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family would like to especially acknowledge the love and support of Ron’s niece Theresa and husband Bruce Marshall for their love and support during Ron’s final days. There will be a celebration of life at a later date TBA. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cuba Christian Church.
