Lieura Mae Hackman

Lieura Mae Hackman, 89, of Springfield, formerly of Bath, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield. She was born on August 6, 1933 in Bath to Earl James and Harriet Julie (Taylor) Lacey.

Lieura is survived by her children, Harry (Juanita) Hackman of Rockford, Roberta Shiffer of Springfield, Linda Deluhery of Springfield, and Donna Whitehead of Springfield; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Audrey) Lacey of Bath, Dale (Juanita) Lacey of Havana, Helen Ann Hardy of Bath, Timothy (Sue) Lacey of Glasford; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Earl Lacey; and sister, Juanita Maxine Lacey.
Lieura worked as an accountant for the State of Illinois for 42 years. She enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and spending time with her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Per Lieura’s wishes, no services will be held.
