She is survived by six children; Shannon Stanton of Lewistown, IL, Melissa Horner of Lewistown, IL, Jessica Turley of Amarillo, TX, David Stanton III of Amarillo, TX, Justin Price of Bushnell, IL and Christopher (Felicia) Price of Iowa; fourteen grandchildren; Jaden, Serina, Zoe, Payton, Marty, Adelyn, Mason, Makayla, Anthony, Alize, Kira, Jace, Zayden, and Hannah; one great-grandchild; one sister, Crystal Lorenz of Peoria, IL; and her boyfriend Elmer Price of 22 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Rhonda was a very strong woman who carried the weight of the world on her shoulders. She was a loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a role model to so many and people looked up to her and learned from her strength. She was a very private person, but wore her heart on her sleeve. Rhonda spent many years taking care of others while putting her own needs to the side. During her nursing career of 27 years she positively influenced inspiring nurses, her surrounding staff, and her patient’s most of all. She prided herself on her children, grandchildren, and boyfriend Elmer Price of 22 years. She enjoyed family cookouts and listening to music whenever possible. Rock music has always been a huge part of her life and she enjoyed attending concerts. Rhonda has left a major impact on so many lives she will be forever missed and continue to inspire others even after her passing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Lakeland Community Church in Canton, IL.
