Canton - Judith Ann Weaver, 82, of Canton, passed away at 2:52 pm Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 12, 1939 in St. David, to Grant and Irene (Branchfield) Stauffer. Judy married Harold Dean Weaver on July 11, 1959 in Canton. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2019, along with her parents, one brother Grant "Buddy" Stauffer Jr, and one sister Shelby Jean Rice.
She was the loving and cherished mother of six children: Dawn Weaver, Darren (Amy) Weaver, Doug (Sue) Weaver, Dana (Vicki) Weaver, Dorinda Clemmons, and DeAnn (Mark) Bare, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Judy was Postmaster of London Mills, IL. and Pleasant Hill, OH. She was a member of the former, Free Methodist Church in Canton and President of the Women's Aglow. As a member of the National League of Postmasters, Judy was honored as Postmaster of the Year on two separate occasions.
Graveside services will be at 11 am Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Shields Chapel Cemetery in rural Canton. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements. To leave online condolences please visit oakshinesfuneralhome.com
