Surviving are his children; Steven W. Sprout of Dekalb, Mark (Holly Grayson) Sprout of Farmington, and Matthew Sprout of Peoria Heights, daughter-in-law; Mary Ann Sprout, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one sister; Billie (John) Day of Canton, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Troy M. Sprout, two brothers; Barry Sprout and Willie Thompson, and one sister; Joyce Hankins.
Orlo was a Foreman at Hiram Walker cooperage department in Peoria for several years. He owned The Spanish Lady Tavern in Peoria, IL. He worked for Caterpillar and South Side Mission in Peoria. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and immensely enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Orlo R. Sprout Jr.
Peoria Heights- Orlo R. Sprout Jr., of Peoria Heights, passed away at 4:20 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at River Crossing of Peoria Nursing Home. He was born on August 27, 1936 in Peoria, a son of Orlo and Zelma (Powers) Sprout Sr.
