Cuba- Eileen Zimmerman, 80, of Cuba, passed away at 4:59 am Saturday April 2, 2022 at Graham Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1941 at rural Colchester, the daughter of James Otho and Dorothy Melinda (Hoyt) Holstine. She married Howard Clark on April 10, 1960 and he died in 1991. She later married John Zimmerman on December 19, 1992. He survives with six children, Brad (Patricia) Clark of Chicago, John (Rhonda) Zimmerman of Oregon, IL; Brent (Hilda) Clark of Anchorage, AK; Shawn McCue of Venice, FL; Julie (Doug) Thomas of Marietta, and Sonya Clark of Canton, 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, a brother in-law, Fred (Gloria) Caspall of Macomb, and three sisters, Beth (Jerry) Biswell of Carthage, Nancy (Dick) Lacy of Colchester, and Evelyn (Orval) Hagon of Colchester. She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Debi Caspall Thurow, and a sister, Eloise Caspall.
Eileen taught 5th grade at Bushnell Grade School for many years, and had also worked as a beautician. She was a member of the Fiatt Christian Church, and a member of Chapter CB P.E.O. She was one of the founders and an active member of the Cuba Cares organization.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday April 7, 2022 at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, where visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday April 6, 2022.
