Surviving are her children, Marianne (Scott) Dowdy of Florida; Kathleen McCarthy of LaGrange, Illinois; John (Joni) McCarthy of Canton; seven grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Mary Ann) Lyle of Middletown, Ohio, and one sister, Janice (Jim) Maglinger of Dayton, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Carole Inzitari.
Kay worked and retired after many years, as a teacher, where she enjoyed substitute teaching until last year. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton, and a member of the Lambda Chi Omega Sorority.
