Canton - Judy K. Pilkington, 70, of Canton, passed away at 10:07 am Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Graham Hospital in Canton. She was born on September 6, 1948 in Cuba to Lloyd W. “Dick” and Minnie C. (Strode) Shields. Judy married George R. Pilkington on September 7, 2010 in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother James Edward Shields. Surviving are three children; Tammy McMillon of Harlan, KY, Andy (Keri) Hensley of Canton, and Bonnie (William) Shryock of Hanna City, three sisters; Eva Lou White of Ellisville, Dixie Newton of Fairview, and Patricia Dickson of Terra Haute, OH, two grandchildren; Charles Cole and Dillon Myers, and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was a member of Shields Chapel Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of ashes at Shields Chapel Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials can be made to Shields Chapel Cemetery. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
