Canton-Lois V. Kopajetich, 97, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Pekin Manor.
She was born on March 26, 1921 in Reed City, IL to Leonard and Susie (Westerfield) Maple. They preceded her in death.
She married Andrew J. Kopajetich on March 1, 1942. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1994.
Surviving are her children Judy Ernst of East Peoria, Andy (Barbara) Kopajetich of Springfield, OH, two grandchildren, Emily (Fiancé Ken) Lane, Chad (Stephanie) Lane and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Allie Lane.
Also preceding her in death is one brother and three sisters.
She was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a burial of the ashes at St Joseph Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
