Cuba- Carol Anne Girard, 71, of Cuba, passed away at 11:38 AM Friday May 4, 2018 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born May 8, 1946 at Canton, the daughter of James and Doris (Bell) Murphy. Survivors include two children, Jamie Girard of Las Vegas, NV; and Leigh Anne (Rick) Rosich of Canton, two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ryan Rosich, one brother, Robert (Carol Jane) Murphy of Cuba, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol Anne retired from the Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Facility in Canton. She was a member of the Cuba United Methodist Church, and was a board member for the Fulton and Mason Crisis Center. She served as a democratic prescient committee woman. She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s functions.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Cuba United Methodist Church with Reverend Russell Rhoades officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 PM at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cuba United Methodist Church.
