She was born on May 22, 1927 in Canton to Thomas and Maude (Oliver) Anderson. They preceded her in death.
She married Michael A. Kuzniar Jr on May 22, 1946, in Canton. He survives.
Also preceding her in death are her children, Maudeen Kay Bohanan, Rodney M. Kuzniar, an infant child, three brothers, Raymond, Donald and Everett Anderson and two sisters, Iva Rench and Louella Wrhel.
Bette also has three grandchildren, Richard Bohanan Jr, Bettina Bohanan, Kaylyn Kuzniar (Greg) Henseler and one great grandchild Livy Kay Swearingen that survive.
She worked as an Avon Representative for 40 years. She was a past President of the Canton American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 2 pm, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of ashes will be held at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the American Legion Auxiliary.
