Henrietta Baker
Lewistown- Henrietta Jean Baker, 86, of Wentzville, MO and formerly of Lewistown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday February 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital-West in Lake St. Louis, MO.
She was born February 1, 1930 at Lusk, WY; the daughter of Henry and Vivian (Butler) Kaan. She married George A. Baker on October 14, 1950 at Lusk, WY. He died March 3, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Surviving are three children, James (Linda) Baker of Wentzville, MO; Jason (Kathy) Baker of Little America, and Judy (Emery) Barlow of Simpson, two sisters, Ardith Dixon of Lusk, WY; and Vivian Schaaf of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Jean was a homemaker. She attended Element Church of Wentzville, MO; and formerly attended Bryant Christian Church. Jean enjoyed traveling, camping, and blue grass festivals.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday February 19th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Kenny Bloyd officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday February 18th from 5-7 PM at the memorial home. Cremation will be accorded following services and burial of ashes will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton at a later date.
