Joyce E. Svob, 84, of Canton, passed away on August 29, 2025 at Red Oak Memory Care in Canton. She was born on April 29, 1941 in Canton, IL. to Gale and Hazel (Weber) Livers. They preceded her in death, along with two brothers; Robert Livers (infant) and Marlin “Pete” Livers. Surviving is her son Timothy (Amy) Svob of Canton. Joyce worked in accounting at various places. Last working at Spoon River College and retiring in 2006. She was a member of Spoon River Garden Club and graduated from Canton High School in 1959. She enjoyed spending time in her beautiful flower gardens, watching old westerns and loving on her cats. Graveside services will be at 11 am Friday, September 5, 2025 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Pastor Abraham Mogerman will officiate. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
