Rosalie Ann Romine

 

Rosalie Ann Romine, 84, of Cobden, formerly of Canton, passed away at 5:08 AM on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 7, 1936 in Canton to Cecil M. and Jenette (Shumaker) Branchfield. She first married William L. Romine and he preceded her in death. Rosalie later married Jack G. Romine and he preceded her in death.

Rosalie was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rick Romine, one step-son, Virgil Romine, and one sister, Patsy Branchfield.

Surviving are four children, Chris (Gerry) Romine, Mike (Joleen) Romine, Randy (Christy) Romine, and Billie Rowsey; five step-children, Robert (Sarah) Romine, Gordon (Carla) Romine, Susie Davis, Jackie Romine, and Patricia Price; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Lillian) Branchfield; and one sister, Carol (Warren) Baxter.

Rosalie was a co-owner of Banner Disposal. She loved canning and the outdoors.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL where a visitation will be held an hour prior. Pastor Curtis Atchley will officiate.
