Kathleen Stringer, 68, of Canton, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 3:45 am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton due to covid complications. She was born on April 9, 1953 in Peoria to George and Dorothy (Forbes) Stringer. They preceded her in death. Surviving is a brother Michael (Karen) Stringer of Peoria, nephew Michel (Amy) Stringer, niece Heather (Jeremy) Norfleet four great-nephews and two great-nieces.
Kathleen worked for PARC in respite care, that changed its name to EPIC. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to either EPIC respite care or to the Donor's choice. Online condolences may be posted at www.oakshinesfuneralhome.com.
