Rosella M. Wells, 70, of St. David, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at The Loft in Canton, IL. She was born on April 12, 1950 in Canton, IL, to Lester and Alta (Steck) Miller Sr. She married Leonard “Wayne” Wells on December 26, 1969. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2006.
Rosella is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Alta, and one great granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, Leonard (Joy) Wells Jr.; one brother, Lester (Jennifer McCombs) Miller Jr.; friend and companion, Ray Webb; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Curtis) Cohee and Justin Wells; one great granddaughter, and her loving dog, Angel.
Rosella worked at the post office for many years. She was a member of the St. David Optimist Club and the Coachman Car Club. Rosella enjoyed photography and loved spending time with her friends and family.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. Rev. Kevin Van Tine will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to the St. David Optimist Club.
