Joyce A. Putman, 84, of Canton passed away at 10:50 am Monday, March 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1936 in Canton to Arthur and Stella (Engle) Werry.
Joyce married Charles Putman on April 20, 1957 in Canton. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother Glenn Werry.
Surviving are two children; Crystal Keller and Troy (Melanie) Putman both of Canton, one brother Charles Werry of Canton, one sister Pamela Haggety of Ellisville, four grandchildren; Rachel (Cody) Jones, Alaina (Rob Johnson) Keller, Carley (Trent Staggs) Putman, and Gabriel Putman and two great-grandchildren; Berkeley Jones and Elara Jones.
Joyce was co-owner/operator of Canton Best-Way and the Flavor Factory in Cuba. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Services will be 11 am, Monday, March 8, 2021 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. The Rev. Micah Garnett will officiate. COVID-19 mandates will be followed with masks being required.
