Canton – Eric James Greer, 43, of Canton passed away at 7:35 pm Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 11, 1975 in San Diego, CA to Charles Bruce and Carla Ann (Dart) Greer. Eric married Kimberly Stegens on November 25, 2015 in Manzanita, OR. She survives along with his parents; Charles Greer of San Diego, CA, Carla Smith of Tillamook, OR, and step-father Tim Smith of Canton. Also surviving are four children; Jessica Widger of Beardstown, Ashley Ernst of Canton, Erica Greer of Blandensville, and Emery Greer of Canton, step-son Izaiah Stancil of Canton, brother Charles Greer of Peoria, two sisters Emily Smith of Yamhill, OR and Toni Jones of Beaverton, OR and six grandchildren.
Eric was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton from noon until 4 pm on January 11, 2018.
