Marietta–Alice G. Jones, 83, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2017, at 8 p.m.
She was born on July 7, 1935 in Rosefield Township, IL to Torris and Pearl (McCallister) Roberson.
She married John Jones on January 8, 1955 in Farmington. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2017.
Surviving are ten children, Dianna (Richard) Edwards, James Jones, Wesley (Teresa) Jones, John (Rita) Jones, Eugene (Kandi) Jones, Michael (Dawn) Jones, Edward Jones, Daniel Jones, Alice (Timothy) Smith, Heather (Lynn) Irwin, daughter in-law Carma Jones, 33 grandchildren, 40 great- grandchildren, with 2 on the way, 3 great great grandchildren with 3 on the way, one brother Larry Roberson and three sisters, Marion Edwards, Lorena Summers and Jean Dangler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, David Jones.
Alice was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Ellisville Christian Church and enjoyed sewing.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Trivoli.
