Hanna City – Evelyn B. Knight, 95, of Hanna City, formerly of Farmington, passed away at 6:19 PM Wednesday June 3, 2015 at Kountry View Retirement Home in Hanna City.
She was born January 3, 1920 in Middle Grove, IL to William and Viola (Powell) Chadwick. Evelyn married Daniel N. Knight on September 8, 1940 in Freemont, IA and he died September 30, 1987.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Sandra Moore; and brother, Kenneth E. Brown.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary (Larry) Ulm of Farmington; four grandchildren, Tracy (Wes) Smith of Wilmington, Jason (Gina) Ulm of Deer Park, TX, Jay (Steffanie) Ulm of Farmington, and Christopher Moore of Port Orchard, WA; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Evelyn worked at Foster Drug Store in Princeville.
She was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed reading.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9th at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home, Farmington with visitation one hour prior.
Rev. Jessica Baldyga will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Farmington.
