Lewistown- Donna J. (Caldwell) Codner, age 64, went to be with the Lord at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home on June 13th after a 3 year battle from complications of cancer treatments.
She was born on April 1, 1951 and was the daughter of John T. and Artie Caldwell. Preceding her in death are her parents; a brother, John Caldwell Jr; and a son; Dennis W. (Barty) Heavelyn. She is survived by her partner, Rick McBride of Lewistown, Illinois; sister-in-laws, Pauline and Bert of Illinois; daughter, Jeanna (Virgil) Hershberger of Delroy, OH; grandsons, Justin (Tynne) Heavelyn and Brandon McCreary; and sister, Jennifer (Kelly) Love of Bowerston, OH.
Donna made her life career caring for the elderly and retired from Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba, Illinois. She enjoyed a quiet life with family and friends.
A private family service will be held at Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Ohio. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown assisted the family with arrangements. To send online condolences visit .
