Joanne Elliott

Farmington- Frances Joanne Elliott, 93, of Farmington, passed away at 9:19 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Red Oak Estates in Canton. She was born on July 15, 1931 in Fiatt, a daughter of Lester and Leta Dell (Keefauver) Lundry. She married Donald Elliott on January 20, 1952 at the First Baptist Church in Canton. He survives.

Also surviving Joanne, are her sons David Elliott of Pekin; Darrell (Linda) Elliott of Farmington; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and brother, Jerry Lundry of Bellevue, Washington.

Joanne worked and retired as a cashier from the former Wilson Sale Company in Fairview, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Locust Lane United Methodist Church, and enjoyed cooking, loved animals, especially horses.

A private family graveside and burial will take place at Foster Cemetery in rural Fairview. Rev. Ellen Dodd will officiate.
