Frances M. Henderson

Canton- Frances M. Henderson, 96, of Canton, passed away at 3:25 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Graham Hospital in Canton. She was born on May 24, 1928 in Cuba, a daughter of Jasper H. and Sada (Landis) Scott. She married Robert L. Henderson on November 14, 1947 in Lewistown. He preceded her in death.

Also, preceding Frances in death were her parents, two brothers, four sisters, and granddaughter, Carol Williams.

Surviving are her two sons, Ed (Laurie) Henderson of Canton; Robert Scott (Jill) Henderson of Canton; four grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Apple of Indianapolis, Indiana, and sister-in-law, Mary Scott of Canton.

Frances was past state of Illinois VFW Ladies Auxiliary president.

Per Frances wishes, cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton. Burial of ashes, will take place in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
