Lois was born January 23, 1933 in Chandlerville Illinois to Lewis and Violet (Hohimer) Johnson. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was an infant son, Brent Russell.
Surviving are her three daughters, Kim Russell and Kirsten (Mark) Douglas and Kristi Russell all of Havana; grandsons, Curt Chapin (Tara Flamini), RJ (Ashley) Chapin of Havana, Dustin Douglas of Chicago, Nicholas Douglas of Springfield, Seth (Rae) Douglas of Washington; great-granddaughters, Vanessa, Savannah, Addisyn, Samantha, Chloee and Scarlett, great-grandsons, Trevor, Mathew, Miles, Leo, Grey, and; one great-great-granddaughter Isla.
Lois retired from Mason District Hospital having worked in the X-Ray Department. She is also remembered for working at Waterworth's for many years.
She enjoyed retirement by spending time with all her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time in her yard with many garden projects.
Cremation will be accorded and a private graveside burial at a later date.
