Also surviving is his mother, Diane Drinkwater; niece Tayler VanPelt; nephew Gage Embree; his best friend, Chris (Mandy) Darsham, and his loving god-children, Hunter, Jaxson, Millie (Mildew) Darsham, and Abby Robb, and his loving pets, Virgil “Beefcake” & Willow “Cupcake”.
Preceding him in death was his father, Raymond Drinkwater, son, Fisher Lee Drinkwater, and his grandparents, Gary (Beverly) Roberts, and Frankie (Margaret) Drinkwater.
Joe worked at Fulton County Rehabilitation Center in Canton, was an avid turkey hunter, fisherman, enjoyed golfing, arrowhead hunting, and four-wheeling, but most of all was being able to attend, and cheer on his god-children at their sporting events. He was a mason within the Canton Masonic Lodge.
Per Joe’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to his wife, to help with the cremation expenses. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
