Gary Losey

Gary L. Losey, 72, of Bartonville, passed away at 7:20 a.m., on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 13, 1950, in Amboy, IL, to Jean and Joyce (Schwingle) Losey. He married Barbara McCaffrey on June 2, 1973, in East Moline, IL. She survives.

Gary is also survived by two children, Janelle (James) West of Victoria, IL, and Timothy Losey of Bartonville; two brothers, Michael Losey and Mark Losey; two sisters, Jan Thompson and Cheryl Harris; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Emily West, and Joshua Losey.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Timothy Losey and Don Losey.
Gary was a member of Living Hope Church in Bartonville and founded Global Partnership Ministries.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Bethany Baptist Church in Peoria. A memorial service will then be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody Bible Institute and Living Hope Missions Fund.
