Elizabeth B. Carpentier, 81, of Dunfermline, passed away at 6:06 am, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born on April 7, 1939 in Massena, NY to Carlton C. and Marie (Hutchins) Berry.
Betty married Harold R. Carpentier on January 28, 1959 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers; Carlton J, Robert J and Dale A. Berry and one grandson Caleb Carpentier.
Surviving are six children; Vickie Abernathy of Dunfermline, Bryan (Kim) Carpentier of Farmington, Craig (Kathy Promen) Carpentier of Canton, Brad (Mary Farwell) Carpentier of Castle Rock, WA, Harold “Rob” Carpentier Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Mark (Vicki) Carpentier of Canton, one brother Mike (Aey) Berry of Michigan, two sisters; Karla Balagna of Galesburg and Sandy (Kenn) Holterfield of O’Fallon, MO, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
Betty was of the Catholic faith and was a graduate of Lewistown Community High School Class of 57. She enjoyed camping, shopping, and spending time with family.
Covid 19 mandates will be followed with masks being required. Services will be at 11 am, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm. Burial will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Memorials can made to either the Humane Society of Fulton County or 1st Baptist Church Food Pantry.
