Carrie L. Polhans, 53, of Cuba, passed away at 6:35 A.M. on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at OSF St. Francis. She was born June 21, 1967 in Manchester, New Hampshire and grew up with her parents, Theodore and Beverly (Begin) Bergeron. She married Keith Polhans on October 19, 1996 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Canton, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Krasandra Polhans of Cuba, IL, Kristin (Ethan Fowler) Polhans of Abingdon, IL, and Kyle Polhans of Metamora, IL; Three bonus children, Georgeanna (Chris) Stead of Cuba, IL, Lynda (Dean) Kruzan of Canton, IL, Mitch (Crystal) Polhans of Cuba, IL; 13 grandchildren, Anna, Olivia, Lydia, Alexia, Zuzanna, Caterina, Matthew K., Christopher, Krystal, Matthew C., Andrew, Jayson, Ryan; One brother, Todd (Rainy Houston) Bergeron; and one cat, Shadow.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Billy.
Carrie worked as a tax specialist for 22 years at H&R Block in Canton, IL. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL.
