Madeline Bugos

Norris – Madeline Bugos, 93, of Norris, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Graham Hospital in Canton surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 27, 1926, in Fulton County to Peter and Caterina (Giorza) Garbolino, of Italy. They preceded her in death.
She married Frank “Abe” Bugos on October 19, 1949 at the Norris United Methodist Church in Norris. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1988.
She is survived by two children, Christy (Randy) Romine, of Norris and Randy (Jan) Bugos, of Savanah Georgia , five grandchildren, Kyle (Nicky) Romine, Jillian (Eric Powers) Romine and Ellyn Romine, Catie (J.D.) McCauley, and Carie Bugos, seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way due in June.
Madeline worked at Joe’s Place in Norris for 38 years, she was a member of the Norris United Methodist Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and being with her grandchildren. Famous for her bagna cauda and polenta recipes, Madeline brought together her family around the kitchen table and was the first to be sure no one left her house on an empty stomach. She was a caring soul who always saw the good in everyone she came into contact with. She was loved by all and never had a bad word to say about anyone
Cremation rites have been accorded, Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials may be made out to the Fulton County Humane Society, or to Meals on Wheels.
