Frank C. Yerbic Jr., 88, of Canton passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at his home in Canton.
He was born on December 21, 1930, in Dunfermline, to Frank A. and Mildred (Gilson) Yerbic. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (Walsh) Yerbic, whom he married on September 12, 1953, at St. Mary’s Church in Canton.
Also surviving are two children, Everett (Laurie Crowell) E. Yerbic of Canton, Frank C. (Lucille) Yerbic III of Brereton, one brother, John Richard Yerbic of Canton, one sister, Josephine Callahan of Lutz, FL, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild..
Frank was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, he worked at Caterpillar in Mapleton retiring in 1987, he was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic church in St. David, the Knights of Columbus, and was lifetime member of the VFW.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A burial will be held at a later date at St Joseph Cemetery in Canton.
