Frank Ball
Frank R. Ball, 70, of Canton, passed away at 1:56 PM on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Canton, a son of Delbert and Alyce (Kinzer) Ball. He married Julie Weaver on May 24, 2002 in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, Jeremy (Ashley) Ball of Knoxville; one granddaughter, Ayda; two step-grandchildren, Parker, and Luke; one brother Dan (Rita) Ball of Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, David.
Frank worked for Keystone steel and wire, retiring after 37 years of service, he loved to go fishing, hunting and mushrooming with his brother and friends. He was an avid sports fan, and always loved to be right in a conversation, but most of all he loved and cared for his family. He was a United States Army veteran.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. Burial will be in Orendorff-Breeds Cemetery in rural Canton, followed by a Celebration of life service at noon at the Goose Pit in Banner. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, or Fulton County Humane Society.
