Canton-Catherine Bowman, 83, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Sunset Manor in Canton.
She was born on February 1, 1935 in Canton to Thomas and Mayola (Riley) Jenkins.
She married Gerald Bowman on January 2, 1952 in Canton and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1990.
Surviving is one son, Douglas (Kelly O’Connell) Bowman of Canton and one granddaughter, Kristina O’Connell.
Also preceding her in death is one brother, Russell Jenkins and one sister, Margaret Ann Beadles.
Catherine worked for in the cafeteria at Canton School District #66 and later was the owner and operator of the White Court Café. She was a member of the Canton Women of the Moose.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, at 2 pm with a visitation from noon until 2 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
Burial of the ashes will follow the funeral at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
