Lewistown-John Edwin Duncan, 97, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born on August 2, 1921, in Canton, to Frank and Alice (Coleman) Duncan. They preceded him in death.
He married Lola May (Marlette) on July 5, 1964 in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are, two children Lisa Jo (Brian) Hall, of Jacksonville, and Gary Allen (Regina) Duncan, of Champaign, and two grandchildren, Joseph Hall and Jacob Hall.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Robert Duncan.,
John was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army Airforce where he served as a medic. He worked at the Vermont Foundry for 40 years retiring in 1987. John enjoyed traveling all over with his wife and most of all he loved to be with his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials may be made out to the Lewistown Rescue Squad.
