Canton-Barbara “Bobbie” Hedges, 71, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at the OSG St Francis Medical Center on Peoria.
She was born on August 14, 1947 in Canton to Carlos and Esther (Hughes) Fairburn. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are children Monty (Cindy) Hedges, and Amy (Bruce) Barnes, one brother Richard (Heather) Fairburn, one niece, Erin Fairburn, four grandchildren, Amanda Hedges, Ryan Hedges, Jordan Barnes, and Lexi Barnes, and two great grandchildren, Austin and Chelsea Cieloha.
Bobbie enjoyed going on the trips with Graham Hospital, she loved to play cards and games, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and was the “Rock” of the family, and never missed any of her family’s activities throughout the years.
Graveside services will be held on Friday September 14, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton has been entrusted with services.
